However, some of the customers have not admired the dot on the cue ball instead of Cyclop’s logo. Most cloths that offer teflon just spray it on a finished product and it wears off. 4 and 12 balls are pink. However, with the passage of time mixed reviews have been observed of the balls. Customers have also not really applauded that balls don’t conform to standards weights. Championship is good too though...a pool room I played at had it and it was perfectly acceptable, as I recall. Re: Simonis vs. Brunswick Cloth: Centennial cloth is made for Brunswick by Championship. Defective balls are cheaply and quickly remedied.
Many of them produce a very good product similar to Simonis 760. The internal molecular density is high which improves the quality of the ball enabling it to react accurately to the strikes and making the game interesting and enjoyable for the players. It has “darts” at the numbers which is cool. BUT I’ve read on several forums that if I opt for the centennial it’s important to get the best cue ball possible. You can check the weight, density, roundness and cosmetic beauty of the balls. There are 30 colors to choose from with Championship Invitational and this is what we put with any of our new tables or use on our recover jobs.
It is definitely one of the fundamentals to check before making an investment in a new pool ball set. I have 860 on my 8' Brunswick Anniversary.
