Food here is average. I also wish their grilled meats station served food that was at least warm. The center of the restaurant looks like part of a wooden ship. Tachi serves omakase style sushi in less than 30 minutes. Many places charge about the same with much less grandiose.Overall: 4.5/5Service could have been better. We got these cards to redeem half a lobster tail and there wasn't much lobster meat (literally 2-3 bites) and the lobsters wasn't that fresh tasting. facebook.
Dragon Pearl is the perfect venue for your next group event. The Peking duck is dry/not crispy, the sushi is decent but not the freshest, other cooked dishes are good but not outstanding... Not a disappointing meal, just an average one.I'll end with a positive though--this place is huge! I had my usual Hot and Sour Soup with a wonton thrown in. This is a great place for a takeaway. Nothing stood out. Overall, I was pleased with the service I received here (always came around to clear dishes and refill water) and the outstanding food I ate. Nigiris…". The staff work hard to make you happy, the atmosphere is incredible and the food is great. Their fish was so moist and tasty, too! Cooked a perfect medium…". "I'm so impressed with this low-key affordable casual steakhouse! I think there's finally another contender with Dragon Pearl proving that it can last.
They were pretty good with the Dragon Pearl spicy sauce and broth. Grand opening! I'm also a fan of their Peking duck. (Note to future self...)I filled my plate and even with piling, didn't even cover 1/10 of what they had to offer.

I did have some Chinese food on my next plate and, of course, I couldn't miss the Peking duck, one of my all-time favourite dishes. Restaurants should always serve food that is fresh, that's the bare minimum. My salad included some lettuce, mango, crab, seaweed, and egg - just bites of things that I like.My main course was the prime rib with mashed potatoes. Plain steamed rice per person. Even with a reservation, we still had to wait. !Last night, we ordered in, the dumplings tasted stale like they'd been frozen for a long time. The salt and pepper seafood had more batter than seafood, the spice was completely bland, nowhere near how previously prepared. The Singapore noodles were very short of additional ingredients like shrimp and vegetables.
