|, November 1, 2016 Jackie (Benz), a troubled young woman with an unyielding alcohol addiction, is released from rehab and given a second chance with a new job Quite an interesting story, kept me interested a girl"Jackie" friend leaves a rehabilitation centre for alcohol abuse and stays at Havenhurst, she turns detective in trying to find out what happened to her friend as no one has heard from her. Havenhurst is a horror film from director Andrew C. Erin (Sam's Lake, 2006) and writer Daniel Farrands. [Full review in Spanish], The only consistency in this film are the jumpscares from the soundtrack, which eventually become the most irritating thing. The story, such as it is: a woman leaving rehab finds an apartment in a classic well-heeled but somehow unsettling halfway house where unusual events are occurring. No problem for a horror film, but it is for this one.
Jason Gedrick. But that ending . By creating an account, you agree to the Privacy Policy
| Rating: 2/10 Night Trap is on PS4 now by the by which is awesome, and DuckTales is back! Havenhurst reminds me of those Sega CD games Double Switch and Night Trap, but if those were actually good and not just so bad they're good. There's an interesting, eventual reveal that made me realize how much better this movie should have been, which makes it all the more disappointing than the average horror movie you've never heard of that popped up on Netflix. Don’t worry, it won’t take long. There are three rules....break them and you get evicted but not back out on the streets....no one leaves Havenhurst. Cinemark But I always like to go into movies expecting them to be good. As it is, this movie is just another generic and dumb horror to join the heap.
I can't say that this movie sucked in the conventional sense, it wasn't ridiculously dumb or anything of the sort, though I can see how some might see it that way.
The percentage of Approved Tomatometer Critics who have given this movie a positive review. Julie Benz is in the starring role and we get cameos from genre favourites Danielle Harris and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn so we are well stacked in terms of names and acting ability, the synopsis doesn't sound particularly stunning but intriguing nonetheless.
Some nice acting from Julie Benz, can she help save a little girl and can she survive?..........some gory kills by the way. Perhaps that's the wrong way to describe it, but I can't go in expecting to hate it because then, of course, I'd hate it. Nice ending though. Never quite finds a distinctive narrative slant or atmosphere of its own. [Full review in Spanish]. Just confirm how you got your ticket. Writer/Director/Producer Andrew C. Erin brings us his tenth directorial effort. This woman, Jamie, decides to investigate as there have been several mysterious disappearances during her stay in her apartment. Am Schluss werden sogar noch die Möglichkeiten verpasst, zumindest durch Splattereffekte etwas herauszuholen.

But the 1.5 star rating still stands, this is just not a very good movie. Havenhurst evokes some dread, but it's ultimately basic-model horror, without the proper planning to make it anything more.
