The goal of the project is to understand new physical phenomena arising from quantum and nonlinear optical integration. Using diamond NV centres, our group is developing small-scale quantum computers, and quantum microscopes sensing electric and magnetic fields down to the nanoscale. The project is to extend this model to finite range attraction such as those between nucleons in atomic nuclei.
