That would be awesome. That's funny, I can't see how the code could "play very well" when the variables H1 and H2 are always zero, as indicated in my previous post.

If the entire length of a ship is hit, it is sunk and removed from play. To help us practice using the correct coordinates for the grid of micro:bit LEDs, let the students play a smaller 5x5 version of Battleship using x and y coordinates instead of letters and numbers.
