The Department of Recreational Sports reserves the right to ban any player, coach, spectator, or participant from further participation for an indefinite time period due to any misconduct and/or unsportsmanlike conduct. In an effort to simplify and make participation more accessible to all, the Intramural department of Recreational Sports requests that all team captains completes their rosters for each sport they are participating in (Names and Student ID number for each player) before the first week of contests. NOTE: Any player consistently practicing with a current varsity/club team is considered to have varsity status for that year only.
PROFANE LANGUAGE/GESTURES & UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOUR directed at an official or player will be dealt with as follows: FIRST OFFENSE: suspension for remainder of game, meet and/or tournament. A student must have paid his/her fees, which include a portion that is directed toward the Department of Recreational Sports. Players must serve from the back of the court (the buoy line or the bulkhead). Teams may start with 2 players and must maintain a minimum 2 rostered players in the game at all times, otherwise a forfeit will occur. There are no restrictions on which players must make ball contact. Double hits, pushes, and lifts will be monitored appropriately.
