Sorrento is where we met a couple who we became firm friends with - unfortunately for them they were staying with earshot of aforementioned Christmas tree. There was a huge Christmas tree on Piazza Tasso and from 8pm I think until midnight, on the hour the tree emitted Mariah Carey Christmas songs along with flashing lights - we were pleased we were not in hearing distance of that because the novelty wore off very quickly!
The hotel is stunning and clean inside.

I would recommend this place to everyone and will miss Pascal's humour and kindness. Amazing experience! Beautiful place, comfortable and in a strategic position. Completely facing the sea with a balcony. They even upgraded us without charge! One of the best breakfast spreads during my month in Italy. Location was great! Everything about Palazzo Abagnale was special from being in the heart of Sorrento to a beautiful, comfortable room, amazing staff and the most fantastic breakfast we had in Italy!

Choose La Magnolia and you will be just a few steps from Piazza Tasso and a 5-minute walk from Sorrento station. Staff very polite and kind. Perfect location. Beautiful, very friendly and helpful staff especially if you are not from Italy and need help!!! Loved the place, really great views and the staff was super friendly!

Restaurants right outside the front door. But you should be ready for going up, since city is located on a cliff, going to the coast is pleasant and easy, but for getting to city center, you would need to go up or take a bus. We liked the cleanliness of the rooms, the character of the hotel and location. Good choice of fresh seafood. The staff were great, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was beautiful and breakfast was delicious.

Marina Piccola is the place to catch a ferry to Capri, Amalfi and Naples. The girl on the front desk was super! Amazing place. Location was fantastic. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace.
